Description

The beading & parting tool is an incredibly versatile, traditional British tool, a hybrid of a skew chisel and a parting tool that has been used by spindle production turners for many years. My Signature tool is the most refined version of the tool, made from Cryogenically treated high-speed steel by Crown Tools of Sheffield and supplied ground to my specification, just as I use in my workshop on a daily basis. One of the main features are the rounded leading edges, which are sharp and square on the standard tool. The rounded edges make my signature tool incredibly comfortable in the hand and allow it to travel smoothly along the tool rest.
